Baby Colt!!!

My best friend delivered her baby boy! He is way too cute for his own good. I can't wait to meet him in person. Below is a picture of Colt with his great-great grandmother, GiGi (otherwise known as Hazel). They represent a 5 generation gap. Unbelievable!

Work injuries and car accidents

A few weeks ago, I injured my back at work...wrestling toddlers. I know, laugh all you want, but those kids are freaks when they wake up from anesthesia. To add insult to injury, while taking care of patients in my incapacitated state, I had to be relieved by my 9 month pregnant coworker. I am such a schmuck. :)
Then, on Friday, I was rear ended. Neck pain and headaches ensued. Too bad I am moving into our new house this week. Seriously, can't a girl get a break here?!? AndraƩ has been great, planning the move, taking care of me. I am one lucky woman.

Inspection Day

It seems hard to believe that in two weeks, this house will be ours. I can't even begin to explain how excited I am. It will be the perfect place for us to start our life together. I have been thinking a lot about this idea of "life at the beginning." Both Andrae and I have lived full lives up until this point, I don't think I can say that now that I am getting married and buying a house that my life is just beginning. But it does feel like we are starting something together. An adventure, a journey, a path. That is what I am going to be writing about here: what it is like to do life at the beginning.
Here are a few pictures of the house that I took on my phone.
